What’s not to love about ‘Twister?’ This gem falls under the Tulip Ginger category but is a dwarf hybrid and features Curcuma parviflora parentage (along with C. sparganifolia??). ‘Twister’ features no less than four colors when in bloom! The dwarf size plants are tight clumpers and shine at the front of a border. They are easily grown as potted plants and will bloom in a quart to 6″ size pot easily. The twisting habit of the inflorescence adds yet another point of interest and enhances the overall look.. not that its needed! If growing in the ground with other , larger Tulip Gingers, place these in the forefront where they can be the star.
Grows to 10″ in medium to full sun. Hardy in Zone 8 and above.
