Curcuma hybrid ‘Lanna Snow’ is an exceptional “Tulip Ginger.” It is actually a hybrid between Curcuma alismatifolia and Curcuma thorelii and it retains all of the great features of your typical C. alismatifolia but with the giant pure white top of C. thorellii. This large flowered plant can thrive in full sun and looks incredible in flower gardens. Its original and primary purpose was to provide cut flower growers with a large pure white Tulip Ginger with exceptionally long lasting vase life. This is one of the longest lasting cuts of all the Tulip Gingers as well as one of the largest.
Foliage grows to 1-1.5 feet tall with the flowers extending above the foliage. Medium to full sun. Cold hardy in USDA Zones 8 and above.
