Developed over many years in seclusion and away from traditional “Florida” style breeding goals these amazing Caladium offer an entirely different look. Bred for amazing colors and color combinations, shapes, and textures these are truly collectors plants. Hard to obtain was an understatement for many years. We have 10 varieties for sale now, but some 40 more to propagate and eventually offer. Thai Caladium were selected for appearance, not for ease of field growing and machine harvest, and not meant for landscape use. These are designer plants meant to be grown and shown off in pots. The bulb of a Thai Caladium is much smaller than what is commercially available for Florida style hybrids and its best to store these dry, indoors over winter.
